The conception, gestation, delivery,
birthing and beginning of Christian Faith Baptist Church, Inc. has carried
the unmistakable sign of the Lord's favor. In retrospect, it is very difficult
to imagine just how complete the Lord has been in provision of every need
of that band of some sixty "pained, alienated and dispossessed" disciples
of Jesus Christ who, in February, 1990, went warily into a wilderness experience,
in search of a "city whose builder and maker is God." The Genesis of the
Church was seeded, we believe, by the Lord, in the hearts of faithful Christians
who sought, in love, to live out their convictions of the Word. This new
church evolved from the tedious discipline of study at hundreds of church
school classes, through discipleship training, Bible study, prayer and
praise. Christian Faith, we can now see emerged from a testing of the Word
of God and people committed to being used to make the Word flesh and a
dwelling element among us. |
