Our vision for the future is far
from complete. We do know from scriptural admonition that we are to
"do the works of Him that sent us, while it is yet day." Indeed, Christ
challenges us as His disciples. Says He, "Greater works than these shall
you so...the works that I do shall ye do also." John 14:12
Our program and vision, then is to be the faithful body of Jesus Christ
here in Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina, The United States, The Globe...to
the uttermost parts of the world. We believe, that if Christian Faith
Baptist Church remains open to the Lord, His word, guidance and revelation
through the Holy Ghost; and if we continue to clarify and overcome the
multiple tensions imposed by culture and
tradition; and "lean not to our understanding" the Lord will honor
and bless our labor. Already, we are in holy consensus that God's House
must be a Holy place in our hearts, lives and affairs. The Church, we believe,
must have preeminence over all other human or spiritual considerations.
Christ and His church must be first...and first class. Christian Faith
Baptist Church will remain a sanctuary, a place of peace, warmth, and fellowship.
We yearn to be a church without spot or wrinkle: and have covenanted
together, by God's grace, to work toward perfection in Christ, individually
and as His Body. Thus yielded, we are already seeing the possibilities
of God's manifestation "We are indeed the sons and daughters of God;
and it doth not yet appear what we shall be".
